Members are able to finance purchases of goods and services they need out of additional sale of their own products, service, unwanted assets or excess capacity. CBE creates new revenue for its members without displacing their existing business revenue base. There are many CBE members options for everyday necessary cash expenditures, conserving the cash for the other needs. Converting barter dollars to cash is an especially attractive option for some CBE members. For example a retailer may purchase goods on barter and then sell them to their regular customers for cash.
